Mr. Ko is a seasoned Production Designer/Art Director, and Illustrator with over 18 years of diverse experience working on animated features, television, video games, advertising and children book projects. He has also contributed to production design, art direction, and visual development for Netflix Animation, Disney+, Atomic Cartoons, Warner Bros. Animation, Laika, Magic Hill Animation Studio, Lucas Film, HarperCollins, Penguin Random House and many others.
Having earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Media from Otis College of Art and Design and an Associate Degree in Fine Arts from Mt. San Antonio College, Mr. Ko credits his education and ability to connect with his inner child for his success in the industry. Whether conceiving imaginary worlds or breathing life into unique on-screen heroes, his passion for inspiring his biggest fans – children and families all over the world -has infused his work on such shows as Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Surf’s Up 2, Hotel Transylvania 2, Trolls, Madagascar 3, Penguins of Madagascar, Captain Underpants, Megamind, How to Train Your Dragon: Gift of the Night Fury, Puss in Boots: The Three Diablos and many more.
